Rabbi Meir Kahane

Kahane was known in the United States and Israel for his strong political, nationalist views, exemplified in his promotion of a Greater Israel based on Jewish law. He founded two controversial movements: the Jewish Defense League (JDL) in the USA and Kach, an Israeli political party.

Rabbi Shmuley Boteach

In 2007 Boteach placed ninth on Newsweek's list of the "Top 50 Rabbis in America"; its description stated "Boteach has been called 'the most famous rabbi in America' and his 17 books, TLC television series and celebrity friends help make that case. His book Kosher Sex introduced this Hasidic rabbi as a cultural phenomena."

Rabbi Avraham Arieh Trugman

Rabbi Trugman grew up in America and became a student of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach and Rabbi Yitzchak Ginsburgh. He is one of the original founding families of Mevo Modi’im, Israel. He has served as a Regional Director of NCSY and currently co-runs Ohr Chadash with his wife.
